Disease Genes We Study

Autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions are highly heterogenous, and mutations in many genes are known to increase risk for these disorders. Among these, some genes have been shown to play particularly important roles. At Northwestern we study a number of these genes. In the following links, we summarize useful information about each of these, and describe research at Northwestern focusing on these genes.
