James Guo is the chair of KYHH. He is from Rochester, NY and studied sociology at Northwestern and epidemiology at the University of Oxford. He maintains research interests at the intersection of cardiology and preventive medicine, and he joined KYHH because of a deep conviction that proactive disease prevention is better than reactive disease management. He looks forward to giving back to the Chicago community and adapting KYHH to the COVID era. In his spare time, James enjoys running, photography, playing violin and guitar, and trying new recipes for his Instant Pot.

Laura Roudebush is the treasurer for KYHH. She grew up in southern California and majored in Human Biology and Society at UCLA. She is passionate about preventative medicine and looks forward to engaging with the Chicago community. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, yoga, and a range of outdoor activities.

Amanda Chang is the Site Coordinator for KYHH. She grew up in San Jose, CA and attended UC Berkeley, where she majored in molecular and cell biology. She pursued her passion for public health through volunteering at the Berkeley Free Clinic and teaching health workshops at local underresourced high schools. In her free time, Amanda enjoys running, watching Netflix, reading, and traveling.

Born and raised in Chicago, Tulsi Patel is a 1st year MD/MPH student and the resource coordinator for KYHH. She’s so excited to finally give back to her Chicago community through KYHH. She studied Neuroscience at Columbia, and then spent a year doing diabetes clinical research in the Bronx, NY. Tulsi spent a few summers abroad working with local NGOs doing community-based research on maternal & child health. In her spare time she loves running, hiking, reading, watching Friends, and dreaming about all the dogs she will adopt in the future.

Priyanka Mathur is the academic coordinator for KYHH. She grew up in Portland, Oregon and went to Northwestern University where she studied biomedical engineering. Priyanka is interested in the advancement of technology in medicine. Priyanka is also passionate about public health and health equity. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring the city.

Garima Tomar is a first-year medical student from Cary, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied Biochemistry and Math. Currently, she has interests in preventative medicine and cardiology. In her free time, she enjoys watching Jeopardy, playing the piano, and playing tennis.

Rohan is a first-year medical student from Pittsburgh, PA. As an undergraduate at Northwestern University, he studied biology and business while pursuing health policy research, non-profit leadership, writing, and music outside of the classroom. Rohan cares deeply about improving quality, value, and access for medically complex and vulnerable populations through the lenses of health policy and care delivery innovation. In his free time, he enjoys singing, cooking, and watching questionable amounts of Netflix and basketball.
