Mentoring
The Medical Faculty Council (MFC) believes that mentoring is an essential component of professional development. It is fundamental to the vitality of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine faculty and is critical in developing the next generation of leaders in education and clinical care, as well as basic, clinical and social sciences. Strong mentors strive for excellence in their own activities and give selflessly to the benefit of their students and colleagues.
The MFC fosters mentoring relationships by sponsoring the Medical Faculty Council Mentor of the Year award. Find more information about this program and how to nominate a faculty mentor below.
