Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators (FAME), in collaboration with the Department of Medical Education, hosts Medical Education Day, an annual series of presentations, workshops and discussions celebrating and examining the future of medical education. The event is an opportunity for experienced faculty, novice educators and students to gather and exchange best practices.
The 14th Annual Medical Education Day keynote speaker is Jean Twenge, PhD. The Keynote Lecture Understanding generational differences: Improving teaching and training in academic health professions will begin at 12:00pm in Hughes Auditorium. Like year's prior, the event will include short presentations, interactive sessions, and a poster session. The event will conclude with an award ceremony and reception celebrating the achievements of the past year. The entire schedule of events will be published in Summer 2024 in the Schedule tab above. Please complete the 14th Annual Medical Education Day Registration Form. Registration closes by October 14th, at 12:00PM CST.
Will CME/CEU be available?
No, CME and CEU credit will not be available for any activities at the 14th Annual Medical Education Day.
In past years, those seeking CME/CEU credit would need to complete the event survey and need to claim your credit hours on the CloudCME website. Please contact the CME office with questions regarding your CME account.
