Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Describe how "NASEM's 5A's" provides a framework to categorize SDOH curricular content in undergraduate medical education (UME).
- Evaluate UME curricular content for fostering knowledge and skills at the clinical and systems level that can impact the social drivers of health.
- Determine which curricular strategies are more appropriate for teaching skills that can impact social drivers of health and go beyond the prevalence and pathophysiology of SDOH.
