Center for Advanced Microscopy / Nikon Imaging Center

MHPL collaborates with the Center for Advanced Microscopy/Nikon Imaging Center for sophisticated microscopy and image analysis.

Developmental Therapeutics Core

The Developmental Therapeutics Core (DTC) helps investigators with the use of animal models to assess novel therapeutics, drug testings, immunizations, implants and sensor devices, and reproductive health. DTC partners with MHPL for histopathology and tissue analytics services.

In Vivo Studies

Pathology Core Facility

The Pathology Core Facility (PATHCORE) is a clinical histopathology lab at Northwestern. PATHCORE-processed specimens intended for research are outsourced to the MHPL for multiplex fluorescence stainings (immunofluorescence or FISH/RNAscope).

Analysis of Human Tissues

NUSeq Core

The NUSeq Core facility provides next-generation sequencing (NGS) capability to Northwestern University. MHPL provides histological processing of specimens in preparation for spatial genomics analysis.
