Why did you choose to attend Northwestern MSTP?
I chose to attend Northwestern MSTP because of the collaborative research environment, the strong clinical training and the people! My first impression of the program was that everyone was so friendly! Chicago is also one of the coolest cities in the world!
Tell us what you've enjoyed most about your current phase in the program.
As a clinical phase student, I really appreciate the perspective that completing a PhD has given me on the wards. I'm always thinking about interesting research questions related to my patients. The final two years of medical school also give you a great opportunity to practice being a real physician-scientist.
What do you enjoy most about living in Chicago?
Chicago is an amazing city to explore on foot! I haven't felt the need to own a car since living here and the public transportation is great.
