Why did you choose to attend Northwestern MSTP?
Northwestern offers my ideal balance of top-notch, collaborative research and clinical environments, located in the heart of a culturally vibrant city. The icing on the cake was being close to family!
Tell us what you've enjoyed most about your current phase in the program.
The clinical years of medical school are a time of enormous growth, both in knowledge and communication skills for sharing information with patients, colleagues and consultants. After a year of pure clinical rotations, you will have absorbed so much, almost through osmosis!
What do you enjoy most about living in Chicago?
Chicago is home to world-class entertainment including restaurants, musical festivals and athletic events (both professional and amateur). The lakefront is a gem: a favorite place of mine to cycle or run. Beyond activities, I find the people here welcoming and helpful, both inside Northwestern and in the city. There seems to be a sense of balance between hard work and leisure.
