Education
The Osher Center is committed to furthering the field of integrative healthcare by educating health professionals and trainees from a wide range of disciplines about this evolving model of healthcare. We currently offer educational opportunities for undergraduates, medical students, residents, fellows, practicing physicians and allied health professionals. Our overarching goal is to expand the number of professions with an understanding of the integrative medicine philosophy and care approach.
Undergraduate Internships
Through our internship, undergraduate students interested in pursuing a graduate degree will receive mentor guidance and gain hands-on experience with integrative health research.
Medical Students
Our electives in integrative medicine and mind-body medicine skills augment the medical school's Lifestyle Medicine thread. We also offer learning opportunities for hands-on culinary and nutrition education.
Residents
We provide the integrative healthcare curriculum for preventive medicine residents and oversee a number of other residency programs' projects to address community and public health.
Fellows
We offer two fellowship programs: an academic clinical fellowship program to help meet the need for future leaders in the field and a faculty fellowship program for practicing healthcare professionals.

Upcoming Events
We offer a number of continuing education events throughout the year, including Grand Rounds & Seminars. Our faculty are invited speakers at many esteemed integrative health conferences annually. We encourage interested faculty, providers and trainees to explore the field through some of the upcoming conferences, shared on our events page, such as Integrative Medicine for the Underserved and the International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health.
