Our Place
Our primary training site for our residents is at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, rated the No. 1 Rehabilitation Hospital by U.S. News & World Report since 1991. Please join us on a virtual tour of this new translational hospital. We made the move from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago to the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in 2017. It is a wonderful home for our residency training program.

Training Sites
Many of the department's interdisciplinary clinical and educational programs are centered at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, but clinical and training activities also take place at our associated institutions below as well as a number of freestanding outpatient locations throughout the Midwest. The combined resources and facilities available to students, residents and faculty members are diverse, as are the experiences provided to our professionals and trainees. The department has physical space located in Abbott Hall on the Chicago Campus. This space houses the primary administrative offices of the department chair, key administrative staff and several faculty.
