How to Apply

Four residents match into our residency program each year, and residency appointments begin on June 23 each year. Subsequent appointments at each advancing level are contingent upon individual performance.

Application Requirements

Applications for positions will be processed electronically through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and include:

ERAS application
Curriculum vitae
Medical school transcripts
USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts
Personal statement
At least three letters of recommendation
Medical Student Performance Evaluation

An interview is required for appointment to the program. Interviews are offered by personal invitation following a comprehensive review of application materials.

For the 2024-2025 residency interview cycle, Northwestern Urology will offer both in person and virtual interview formats. Although, in person interviews are encouraged, the hybrid interview format allows the applicant to choose the format best suited to them. Interviews will be held on November 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd. Discounted lodging is available on first come basis. Additionally, rooming with a northwestern resident might be possible.
