Artist's comments: This piece was made while I was a student in a drawing class in fall 1999. The instructor, Chris Cosnowski, inspired me to draw my subjects in a way that surpasses ordinary seeing. His teaching technique and encouragement enabled me to be more expressive through my drawings.
