Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency

The Northwestern University & Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency is accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association as a post-professional residency program for physical therapists in neurologic physical therapy.

We aim to:

  • Serve as a training ground and model for the specialized practice of neurologic physical therapy in the 21st century
  • Foster an ability-driven, outcomes-based professional culture committed to the integration of science-based clinical reasoning and clinical care
  • Spark a lifelong interest in learning and research

Please download the residency information packet (PDF) for more information. The packet is updated annually in September, just prior to the opening of the application cycle.
