Health Equity Community of Practice

The Feinberg Health Equity Community of Practice (CoP) brings together staff committed to advancing health equity at Northwestern. This group fosters a supportive environment for discussing challenges and opportunities in health equity, such as diversifying the workforce, addressing mistreatment of marginalized groups and raising awareness. Through collaboration, members share resources and strategies for meaningful change in their respective roles, especially in leading equity-focused initiatives.

Through purposeful connection and collaboration, we aim to build and exchange knowledge about:

• Develop and implement health equity best practices, including equitable recruitment and retention strategies.
• Address and reduce mistreatment.
• Increase awareness of health equity issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Share and promote resources that support health equity initiatives.
