About the Feinberg Office of Health Equity
Our mission motivates us to advance health for all. Decades of health disparities, notably in Chicago, made clear the rationale for change. Our world, our society, our local communities are more interconnected now than ever before. The absence of health in any one of us affects the health of all of us. No academic medical center is better equipped to not only address, but to lead health equity science and equitable care."

Vice Dean for Health Equity

Feinberg Health Equity Goals
- To train and support healthcare providers and biomedical scientists who will serve our entire nation, the many populations we serve, and our community at large.
- To enhance engagement with campus partners and the larger Chicago community.
- To expand areas of health equity and community-based research.
- To recruit advocates and leaders with an emphasis on rural health, global health, and the health of all at-risk communities.
- Most importantly, we support efforts to narrow health inequities and strive toward health equity.
