Robert R. McCormick Foundation Center for Hope and Equity
The Robert R. McCormick Foundation Center for Hope and Equity at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab addresses the needs of underserved Chicago communities, particularly BIPOC patients, by providing tailored resources for recovery and pathways to healthcare careers. It focuses on overcoming social determinants of health through comprehensive care, transportation assistance, and education to prevent rehospitalization.
Safe Space Training
Safe Space Training educates allies who support LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) individuals in the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine community. The online training is open to students, trainees, faculty, and staff.
