Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is committed to providing a comprehensive financial aid package designed to assist you with the cost of your investment. We offer eligible students federal loan assistance to cover up to 100 percent of financial need as determined by our financial aid analysis for federal aid. Find out more via the links below.
Scholarships
All students admitted to the MD program are automatically considered for merit scholarships.
Grants
Applicants to the MD program at the Feinberg School of Medicine may be eligible for need-based grant funding through the Chicago Office of Financial Aid. The Chicago Financial Aid Office will send out financial aid offer letter showing eligibility for need-based grant funds and student loans on a rolling basis in mid-March.

Fellowships
The Northwestern University Office of Fellowships can help current students with the following:
- Provide support and mentorship through fellowship application process
- Help you search for fellowships that match your interests and qualifications by using the Fellowship find
- Match you with mentors who have won fellowships that you are pursuing
- Provide writing help, interview prep and access to essays written by previous winners
