Science in Medicine
The foundational sciences, such as anatomy and genetics, are integrated throughout the organ-based modules of Phase 1. The science essential to the practice of each medical discipline will be revisited in Phase 2 and Phase 3. Active learning strategies associated with this element include audience response, quizzes, problem-based learning, team-based learning, simulation-based learning and learning plenaries.
