Affiliation Agreements

Feinberg School of Medicine requires an executed affiliation agreement with your home institution to allow for participation in the visiting medical student program. Where appropriate, Feinberg School of Medicine uses the AAMC Uniform Clinical Training Agreement.

Students who are in good academic standing and actively progressing toward a Doctor of Medicine degree at an affiliated LCME-accredited institution or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at an affiliated, COCA-accredited, AACOM member institution are welcome to apply.

At this time, we have agreements with the vast majority of accredited schools. 

If your institution is not on this list and you are interested in pursuing a rotation at Feinberg, please have your school’s visiting student coordinator contact our program at visitingstudents@northwestern.edu.

A fully executed affiliation agreement must be in place before a student can rotate at Feinberg.
